Meet Dr. Nwaigwe

We are proud to have Dr. Nwaigwe, a prominent board certified Psychiatrist specializing in adult psychiatric care, leading our team. Dr. Nwaigwe is a first-generation Nigerian American who grew up in Baltimore, Maryland. She earned her B.S. in Behavioral and Community Health from the University of Maryland, then went on to Ross University School of Medicine.

After that, she completed her Adult Psychiatric Residency at the Medical College of Georgia, where she received extensive training in psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis, pharmacology, and psychotherapy. Notably, she was named Resident of the Year during her first year in the Adult Psychiatry Residency Program. 
 
Dr. Nwaigwe is deeply committed to mental health and providing care for adolescents, adults, and women. She is particularly dedicated to supporting women throughout the stages of pregnancy and beyond. Our team is focused on helping our patients discover the solutions they need to improve their lives.
